Evergreen Ministry

The legacy of our belated founder, Rev. Dr. David Yone Mo, lives on through the compassionate vision he held for a ministry dedicated to caring for the elderly. This vision found its fulfillment through his daughter, Dr. Khin Khin Moe, whose heart was moved to take action when Cyclone Nargis devastated our country in 2008. Witnessing the plight of numerous elderly left homeless and without hope, she established the Evergreen Ministry.

Since its inception, Evergreen Ministry has been a beacon of love and care, providing a home and support to over 70 elderly individuals across our Evangelical Baptist Church (EBC) churches throughout Myanmar. Embracing the spirit of inclusivity and compassion, the ministry warmly welcomes elderly individuals from all religious beliefs, recognizing that the need for love and care transcends faith boundaries.

Our dedicated missionaries exemplify the true essence of selfless service as they tenderly look after the elderly under their care. Beyond providing physical necessities, they offer a sense of belonging and companionship, fostering an environment of love and respect.

The Evergreen Ministry stands as a testament to the power of a simple vision, nurtured by the passion of Dr. Khin Khin Moe, and guided by the spirit of our beloved founder. Together, we honor their legacy by continuing to extend love and care to those who need it most.

We are grateful for the unwavering support of our community, whose generosity and prayers enable us to make a difference in the lives of the elderly. As we walk this compassionate journey, we invite others to join hands with us, sharing in the joy of serving those who once cared for us.
