Myanmar Young Crusaders was established on 5th August, 1974 with the primary goal of reaching nationals through Gospel songs. Together with the blessing from the LORD, the following ministries have been eventually established.

Rev.Dr.David Yone Mo
Brief Biography of Rev.Dr. David Yone Mo, Founder of the Myanmar Young Crusaders
Rev. David Yone Mo, second eldest son of U Yone Mo and Daw Elizabeth, was born in Yangon on 5th October, 1944. He had two brothers and two sisters. He attended the "Methodist English High School" (Now No. 1 Dagon S.H.S) in 1949 and matriculated in 1962. He was married to Kathleen Khin in 1963 and had four sons and a daughter.
After being discharged from the hospital taking treatment for viral hepatitis due to heavy usage of drugs, he founded the "Myanmar Young Crusaders" on 5th August, 1974, with the aim of rehabilitating drug addicts and reaching the nationals through Gospel songs. The M.Y.C now has six various ministries- Drug Rehabilitation Center, Bible Training Center, Orphanage, Leper Colony, Music ministry and Church Planting.
He was awarded the "Doctor of Humanities" Degree in 2001 by Liberty University, U.S.A and was also honored with "Man of the Year" by American Biographical Institute Inc. for his dedication selfless service and strenuous work among the destitutes and the needies.
The early 2002, he started to contract liver cancer. On 24th August, 2003, he went to be with the LORD.
